“Unable to read task sequence configuration disk” in SCCM OSD

I encountered this error again in a different scenario – running a Build and Capture OSD Task Sequence on Windows 8 Release Preview x64 in Configuration Manager 2012 SP1.

Upgrading to SCVMM 2008 R2 SP1

Microsof recently announced the final release of System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2008 R2 SP1. This service pack release provides support for Dynamic Memory and RemoteFX – features which were added to Hyper-V with Server 2008 R2 SP1.
